Supplemental Fees

  • Single room upgrade: € 40 (hotel only - subject to availability)
  • 80 € fee: Applies if no active PZS (Alpine Association of Slovenia) membership
Group Climbing Details
  • Each climbing rope team is led by a certified mountain guide.
  • Solo climbers will be matched with a suitable partner if there are enough individual participants.
  • If you prefer a private guide, one-on-one guidance is available for an additional fee.
  • The climb takes place regardless of weather conditions, up to the highest safe point.
Itinerary

Day 1Val Savaranche – Vittorio Emanuele Hut

Tour starts in Val Savaranche, at the Pont settlement (1,960m). Three hours hike to Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele II (2,732m), a unique dome-shaped hut accommodating up to 200 climbers. Training session on crampon techniques and glacier travel in preparation for the summit day. Dinner and overnight stay at the hut.

Day 2Summit Day: Gran Paradiso Ascent (4,061m)

Early morning start for the 5-hour ascent via the Gran Paradiso Glacier. Final summit ridge includes easy scrambling with spectacular views of Mont Blanc and the surrounding Alps. Reach the iconic summit marked by the statue of the Virgin Mary. Descent back to Rifugio Vittorio Emanuele or further down into the valley.

Day 3Pont - End of Program

Hike back to Pont, followed by lunch and refreshments. End of Program.
