Tour Details

Mera Peak, Nepal’s highest trekking peak at 6,476 meters, offers an extraordinary adventure for experienced hikers. The route takes you through high mountain passes, glacial valleys, and alpine landscapes, revealing breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayas. While technically non-demanding, this climb is an ideal challenge for those seeking a personal milestone in the heart of the world’s highest mountain range.

Climbing Mera Peak

At 6,461 meters, Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal, accessible without technical mountaineering skills. The trek starts in Lukla, leading through rhododendron forests and high-altitude passes, before reaching glacial landscapes and rocky valleys. The base camp, surrounded by majestic Himalayan peaks, sets the stage for achieving your first Himalayan summit success.

How Many Summits Does Mera Peak Have?

Mera Peak has three summits:

  • Mera North (6,476 m)
  • Mera Central (6,461 m) (the most commonly climbed route)
  • Mera South (6,065 m)

The Central Peak is the preferred route as it is the most accessible. Mera North requires an additional three hours of effort and is more technically demanding, making it less frequently climbed.
