What to Expect

On this trek, we will stay in lodges—simple guesthouses in Sherpa villages—and enjoy traditional local cuisine. The trek covers approximately 100 km, starting at 2,600 meters and ascending to 5,550 meters, before descending back to the starting point. The return to Kathmandu will be by domestic flight, followed by a leisure day in the bustling city.

The Gokyo Lakes, located in the heart of the Himalayas, offer an alternative route to Everest Base Camp. These high-altitude lakes shimmer in shades of blue and green, reflecting the majesty of the surrounding snow-capped peaks. The Gokyo Valley provides a serene, panoramic trekking experience, including breathtaking views of Cho Oyu.
