The Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan is a coastal country in the Middle East. It borders Syria to the north, Iraq to the northeast, Saudi Arabia to the south and east, Israel to the west, and the West Bank of the Jordan River, where it also borders the Dead Sea, with an outlet to the Red Sea in the Gulf of Aqaba. Wadi Rum lies 250 km south of Amman. Its surface resembles the moon, covered with sand and stone towers. This desert is a large historical museum dotted with characters from the Bible and home to today’s semi-nomadic inhabitants, the Bedouins.
We will go to Jordan on a trek to one of the most beautiful deserts in the world—Wadi Rum.
