Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa (Uhuru Peak – 5,895m), lies in northern Tanzania near the equator. This accessible yet challenging peak attracts mountaineers and adventure seekers from around the world. Our selected Machame route is one of the most scenic and gradual routes, ensuring higher summit success rates. Unlike the Marangu route, Machame is less crowded, providing a more enjoyable trekking experience.
The ascent follows Barafu Camp to Stella Point and finally Uhuru Peak, offering spectacular landscapes and a gradual acclimatization process. The climb is not technically difficult but requires a good level of fitness. This journey offers the best of African landscapes, unique flora and fauna, and an unforgettable high-altitude experience.
Our expeditions boast a 97% summit success rate, making your journey to the top both rewarding and achievable.
Time for rest and acclimatization. Explore local markets or take a light walk through the streets of Arusha. In the evening, meet with the mountain guides for a briefing about the Kilimanjaro ascent.
We offer two route options: Marangu (hut accommodation) and Machame (tent accommodation). Each participant selects their preferred route (minimum two participants per route required).
